<p>A container was transporting cars from Chennai to Bangalore on National Highway-4. The railway staff, reportedly did not close the gate at the level crossing and the driver was manuovering his vehicle over the tracks at which time the Bangalore-Bangarpet bullet train rammed into it at about 8 30 pm. The train even dragged the container truck for some distance. <br /><br />Meanwhile, two trucks coming in the opposite direction hit the container, thus bringing the traffic on National Highway to a grinding halt.<br />However, there are no reports of loss of life due to the accident.<br /></p>
