Volunteers to do night beat

The residents of Yaluvahalli had protested in front of the District Superintendent of Police urging the police to check crime in the area. They had appealed to the police to intensify the beat system.

Though the police personnel have responded to their plea, the residents have decided to help them. “This is our way of checking crimes in our area. Besides, we would be helping the police too,” said Yaluvahalli Ramesh, a resident. He further said that this move will instill confidence and esnure safety among the other residents.
