<p class="title">Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated the 600 MW first stage of the Shakti Sthala solar park at Nagalamadike hobli, Pavagada taluk, Tumakuru district on Thursday. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The solar park spreads over Rayacherlu, Tirumani, Balasamudra, Valluru, Kythaganacherlu villages and has a total generation capacity of 2000 MW. The construction of the second stage of the park is underway. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The generation has been outsourced to six companies. According to Karnataka Solar Power Development Corporation (KSPDCL) CEO D Nagaraju they are: </p>.<p class="bodytext">Adani Power Limited: 150 MW</p>.<p class="bodytext">Tata Power Company Limited: 150 MW</p>.<p class="bodytext">Fortum Power Solutions: 100 MW</p>.<p class="bodytext">Acme Solar: 100 MW</p>.<p class="bodytext">Yaro Power: 50 MW</p>.<p class="bodytext">ReNew Power: 50 MW</p>.<p class="bodytext">Union Power Minister Rajkumar Singh, district in-charge minister T B Jayachandra, Energy Minister D K Shivakumar, B S Patil, chairman, Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd. were present. </p>
