<p>Bengaluru: Kushagra Gupta from Karnataka secured 100 percentile in the JEE (Main) and has emerged as the state’s topper. </p>.<p>Gupta, from Narayana Co-Kaveri Bhavan, Kasavanahalli, is among the 24 students in India to score 100 percentile. The JEE (Main) results were announced late Friday night. </p>.<p>Kushagra had also scored 100 percentile in JEE (Main) session 1 which was held in January. An elated Kushagra said, “My focus was mainly on improving myself and becoming consistent over time instead of just going for a top rank. I thought that the next day I have to do better than the last time. Since our school conducted exams everyday, we used to get new questions every day. Bhagavati of Narayana Olympiad School, Sahakar Nagar, secured 99.99 percentile.</p>.<p>A total of 24 candidates secured 100 percentile scores across the nation with Rajasthan accounting for the highest number of toppers with seven students, followed by three students each from Maharashtra, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.</p>.<p>The JEE (Main) 2025 session-2 of paper-1 (B.E./B.Tech.) was conducted by NTA from April 2 to 8. Of the 10,61,840 candidates who registered for the examination, 9,92,350 appeared.</p>.<p>The exam was held in 13 languages, including Kannada, at 531 unique examination centres in 300 cities including 15 cities outside India.</p>
