<p>Thiruvananthapuram: Congress leader in Kerala Palode Ravi has quit the Thiruvananthapuram district Congress committee president post after a phone conversation in which he predicted poor performance of Congress in the coming elections came out.</p><p>Ravi's conversation with a local worker of the party came out on Saturday. The Congress state leadership expressed strong leadership over it. He further says that the BJP will pump in cash in at least 60 assembly seats and the Congress will come to third place. After the assembly and local body elections the Congress would ruin, he tells the party worker over phone.</p><p>The AICC leadership was also learnt to have taken up the matter seriously and hence the party state leadership asked him to quit.</p><p>Ravi tried to wriggle out of the row by stating that he was only trying to give an alert.</p>
