<p>Thiruvananthapuram: At a time when most marriage functions are turning out to be events of extreme luxury shows, Kerala witnessed a marriage event that was marked with a photo, book and video exhibition on Mahatma Gandhi and freedom struggle.</p><p>A Congress local leader of Vadakara on the suburbs of Kozhikode district adorned the venue of his son's marriage on Sunday with photos and books on Gandhiji and video shows.</p>.Gandhiji’s autobiography is bestseller of bestsellers.<p>Mustafa, a Congress local leader of Chorode near Vadakara, made the venue of his son Mohammed Mustaq's marriage a different one.</p><p>According to Youth Congress local leader Nigin, Mustafa has been strongly following Gandhian principles in his life. Hence he decided to make his son's marriage too an occasion for highlighting Gandhiji's contributions.</p><p>Apart from the photo and book exhibition, video footage about Gandhiji and freedom struggle were also displayed at the venue. The Gandhigramam in Kozhikode helped in setting up the exhibition. </p><p>Around 120 books, including those written by Gandhiji were displayed.</p>
