<p>Thiruvananthapuram: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has sounded a red alert in eleven of the 14 districts in Kerala for Monday.</p><p>While an orange alert was sounded in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Alappuzha districts, in all the other districts a red alert was sounded.</p><p>Meanwhile, rain continued to wreak damage across the state on Sunday also. </p><p>A tree uprooted over a train at Cheruthuruthi in Thrissur district by around 10 am on Sunday. There were no casualties. Train services were disrupted for nearly one hour.</p><p>At Vadakara in Kozhikode a two wheeler rider was killed after a tree uprooted over him. The deceased was identified as Pavithran (64). A tree reportedly uprooted and fell over an electric line.</p><p>A woman was reported killed in Idukki district after a tree uprooted and fell over her and a person drowned in Palakkad district.</p>
