MP magistrate killed by husband for not making him nominee in financial records

In a shocking incident SDM deceased Nisha Napit, posted in Shahpura in Dindori district, was murdered by her husband Manish Sharma on Sunday. Accused killed his wife by pressing her face against a pillow/smothering her face.

The police have reportedly solved the open and shut case within 24 hours. DIG Balaghat Mukesh Srivastava in a press conference said on Monday that the accused Manish Sharma (deceased husband) despite trying to prove innocence by giving misleading statement was arrested for gruesome crime.

The accused (Manish) after committing the crime washed and dried the blood-stained clothes in the washing machine at the official residence of deceased. The evidence recovered by the police from crime spot, the case has been registered against deceased husband Manish Sharma (45) under various sections. The police is further interrogating the matter.

The DIG said that Nisha Napit (50) had married to Manish Sharma in 2020 at Gayatri Mandir in Mandla. However, their family life was not smooth and stressful. Manish Sharma allegedly used to harass her for money matters. Due to lack of trust the deceased did not make her husband nominee in her service book neither bank account etc. Despite pressure from her husband Nisha did not trust him so she kept refusing

SDM Nisha Napit died on Sunday afternoon. Manish Sharma earlier told that she was taken to the hospital after Nisha suffered chest pain where she died during treatment. Doctor Ratnesh Dwivedi said that Nisha was brought dead to the hospital.

According to the accused Manish Sharma the deceased physical condition was bad and one kidney was damaged. Despite doctors’ advice for rest, she continued physical exertion and as a result collapsed on Sunday. She was rushed to hospital after noticing blood oozing out from her nose and in unconscious condition.

Nisha's elder sister Neelima Napit alleged that Manish had strained relations with Nisha and used to torture her over money matters. My sister had no illness. Manish has done something wrong. The FSL team found the bed sheets, pillows and Nisha's clothes from the washing machine. Meaning he is trying to hide/destroy evidences. Manish did not allow the staff to go to Nisha's room.
