Baba Siddique to join NCP on Feb 10, 'some more to join on Feb 11': Ajit Pawar

Amid reports that more than a dozen Congress leaders are sitting on the fence in Maharashtra, former minister Baba Siddique on Thursday left the grand old party after over having an association of close to five decades.

Baba Siddique, who ended his nearly five-decade association with the Congress party, is set to join the NCP on February 10, NCP chief and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said, reported news agency ANI.

"Baba Siddique will join NCP on the evening of 10th Feb and on 11th Feb some more will join the party," Pawar said.
