<p>Mumbai: Lashing out at <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/uddhav-thackeray">Uddhav Thackeray</a>, Maharashtra deputy chief minister and Shiv Sena chief leader <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/eknath-shinde">Eknath Shinde</a> borrowed dialogues from Bollywood blockbusters <em>Kalia</em> and <em>Sholay</em> to send a strong message across to the rival side indicating that many are waiting to jump out of Shiv Sena (UBT). </p><p>Shinde was speaking at his bastion of Thane after former three-time MLA Rajan Salve left Shiv Sena (UBT) to join the Shiv Sena. </p><p>“People have faith in Shiv Sena…people know that the people here work…they know that people here do not sit at home,” Shinde said pointing out that he has asked all his ministers to be on the field and keep their eyes and ears open. </p>.Pawar felicitating Shinde certifies him as the better CM, Maha Yuti tells a fuming Uddhav faction.<p>“Eknath Shinde jaha khada hota hai…line wahi se shuru hoti hai,”(The queue begins where Eknath Shinde stands) he said referring to the iconic dialogue in Kalia rendered by Amitabh Bachchan </p><p>“Our line is of jan seva (public service),” he said. </p><p>Referring to Thackeray without naming him, Shinde said: “…their condition is like <em>Sholay</em>’s 'Angrezo k zamane k jailor'...Aadhe idhar jao…adhe udhar jao…aur baki mere saath aao.” </p><p>“But who is there behind him,” he said. </p><p>Shinde said that instead of attacking him and those who had left, the Shiv Sena (UBT) head should introspect as to why that is happening. </p><p>On the attack by Thackeray’s son and Worli MLA Aaditya Thackeray and their close aide Sanjay Raut for NCP (SP) supremo Sharad Pawar conferring him the Mahadji Shinde Rashtra Gaurav Puraskar in the presence of Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia, he said: “It is a matter of pride for a Maharashtrian.” </p><p>Invoking late Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray, Shinde said, “In Shiv Sena everybody is a karyakarta (worker)….as chief minister I worked as a karyakarta…now (as deputy chief minister) also I am a karyakarta…”.</p><p>Reacting to the development, Aaditya said: "You may take anyone....whether one is corrupt or tainted."</p>
