Inciting violence, hatred: Plea in Bombay HC seeks FIR against Raj Thackeray, MNS over Marathi row

Amid reports of attacks against non-Marathi speaking people in Maharashtra by workers of the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), a PIL has been filed before the Bombay High Court seeking action against the party's top leader.

The PIL, filed by Advocate Ghanshyam Upadhyay, accuses the MNS chief of inciting violence against Hindi-speaking people and stirring up language-based hatred.

The plea seeks an FIR against Thackeray and his party workers.
