<p>Mumbai: Eminent Marathi ghazal singer Bhimrao Panchale will be honoured with the coveted Lata Mangeshkar Award 2025, the highest recognition in the field of music among the Maharashtra State Film Film Awards.</p><p>The 74-year-old Panchale is known as Ghazal Nawaz (the Prince of Ghazals) for his exposition of ghazal and its adaptation to the Marathi language. </p><p>The Chitrapati Late V Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award 2024 will be conferred upon renowned director and actor Mahesh Manjrekar, while the Chitrapati Late V Shantaram Special Contribution Award will go to actress Mukta Barve. Besides, the Late Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award 2024 will be presented to veteran actor Anupam Kher and the Late Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award will be conferred upon actress Kajol.</p><p>The diamond jubilee ceremony of the Maharashtra State Marathi Film Awards will be held on Tuesday at The Dome in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium at Worli in Mumbai. </p>.A multi-genre singer with a focus on spiritual music.<p>The awards ceremony will be graced and presided over by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in the presence of Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar along with Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar.</p><p>In addition to these prestigious honours, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Mahavarasa Award 2025 has been announced, aimed at honouring individuals committed to preserving Maharashtra’s rich cultural heritage and history. </p><p>Also, the 60th and 61st Maharashtra State Marathi Film Awards will also be presented during the grand ceremony.</p><p>Having consistently honoured the contributions of Marathi film personalities for over six decades, the awards have now reached a significant milestone. </p><p>Under the guidance of Dr. Kiran Kulkarni, Secretary of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Swati Mhase-Patil, Managing Director of the Maharashtra Film, Theatre and Cultural Development Corporation, preparations are underway for the grand ceremony. </p>
