According to a Board communique, about one lakh candidates will appear for the optional online version of the entrance examination for the first time. However, the computer- based test will be held only in select cities. The sale of Information Bulletin will start from December 15 at various branches of banks/institutions/regional offices of the board.
However, for those willing to apply online, the facility for submission of online application will be available from Tuesday.
Candidates can either opt for paper pencil test or computer-based test this year. Students who are planning to take the test were happy that the new version is optional. “I am happy that the online test is not mandatory for us. Many candidates have been preparing for the paper-pencil test. Switching to a new format might affect the speed and accuracy rate,” a student said.
