They are not going to succeed in this," he said.<br /><br />At the same time, he said the Centre is ready to have dialogue with them provided they abjure violence.<br /><br />The Home Minister said the "Naxalites are our own countrymen and not enemies like Pakistani terrorists".<br />On Tamils displaced within Sri Lanka, he said the visit of a delegation of MPs from Tamil Nadu to that country earlier this month had helped in sending back nearly 81,000 such people to their homes from camps.<br /><br />The Sri Lankan government had given an assurance that the remaining Tamils would also be sent back to their homes from camps at the earliest, Chidambaram said.</p>
