<p>All tests conducted on the 77-year-old Prime Minister were "normal and everything is alright," doctors attending on him said.<br /><br />"This is a routine evaluation that was done in two parts. He underwent a Stress-Thallium test. It was done in two parts -- one was done at 8 am and the other was done at 12.30 pm," said Dr K S Reddy, personal physician to the Prime Minister.<br /><br />During the tests, a patient is made to do some exercises and certain assessments are made by doctors to check if the heart is able to take stress or not.<br /><br />Reddy said, "This is a test conducted to check the functioning of the heart. Dr Singh has undergone a heart surgery last year and this is an evaluation process to ascertain working of his heart."<br /><br />A team of doctors at AIIMS were involved in the tests. "All tests are normal and everything is alright with the Prime Minister," Reddy said. <br /><br />A PMO spokesman said several tests were conducted for cardiovascular assessment as a follow-up to his re-do coronary bypass surgery which was performed on him a year ago.<br />The Prime Minister is back at home and his engagements slated for tomorrow stand as per schedule, he said.<br /><br />Singh is scheduled to inaugurate a conference of state Chief Secretaries tomorrow morning.<br /><br />He had undergone a 'beating heart' surgery on January 24 last year to clear coronary blockages.</p>
