<p>Police on Monday seized 300 dummy Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) from the vehicle of a RLD candidate at Baruat in Baghpat district.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The EVMs were brought to the state from Haryana in a car and were seized during checking of the vehicles at Niwari check post, police sources here said. They were brought by the RLD nominee Ashwini Tomar. A case has been registered against Tomar, sources said.<br /><br />The dummy EVMs looked exactly like the EVMs used during the elections, police said.<br /><br />Tomar, meanwhile, said that he had brought them with a view to make his supporters understand how they have to vote.</p>
