Punjab Bandh: Travel severely affected as farmers block major roads

Farmers blocked several roads across Punjab as part of their protest causing widespread traffic disruptions during their bandh. The strike was called last week by Samyukta Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha to protest the Centre’s failure to meet farmers’ demands. The bandh is being observed from 7 am to 4 pm.
