Railway stations to be secured

“We are implementing an electronic security system. This is going to be implemented soon,” Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi said in the Rajya Sabha during the Question Hour.

The integrated security system will consist of close-circuit television camera, access control and anti-sabotage checks. “The system has been approved to strengthen surveillance mechanism at 202 railway stations and it is under implementation,” Trivedi said.
