<p>Polling for students union election in Rajasthan University will be held on August 31. Polls this year have become important as the state assembly elections are slated just after two months, DHNS reports from Jaipur.</p>.<p>The student wings of both BJP and the Congress, ABVP and NSUI respectively, are competing for key posts. The campaigning for the elections ended on Wednesday. Candidates were seen moving from one college to the other and left no stone unturned to woo the voters.</p>.<p>Dean students welfare Sabina Kalia said, "Security has been beefed up ahead of the polls. We earlier conducted awareness camps on guidelines for casting the vote and same has been uploaded on the university website". </p>.<p>During present BJP government in state, ABVP has not been able to win a seat of president since 2013, although NSUI have won the president seat in 2014 and 2015.</p>
