Sitting Supreme Court judges on Monday joined noted singer Mohit Chauhan and others to render their voice to songs to raise funds for the Kerala flood victims.

Justice K M Joseph, who was recently elevated to the top court, himself sang songs, while senior journalist Bhadra Sinha performed 'Bharatnatyam' in the cultural evening organised by journalists here at the auditorium of Indian Society of International Law.

Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra, other SC judges, Justices Kurian Joseph, Madan B Lokur, Deepak Gupta and others lit the lamp to start the programme.

Senior Supreme Court lawyers and Supreme Court Bar Association president Vikas Singh and others, including law officers, were also present on the occasion.

Justice Kurian sang with Chauhan the song – 'We shall overcome this'. Justice Joseph dedicated a song from film 'Amaram' to fisherfolk for the services rendered by them during the flood.

The programme was organised to raise contribution and funds as Kerala faced the loss of lives and destruction of properties due to unprecedented flood and rainfall.
