Shri Krishna taught ‘Jihad’ to Arjuna in Gita: Shivraj Patil

Former Union Minister Shivraj Patil attended a book launch event in Delhi on October 21. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor was also present at the event. Addressing the gathering he talked about the reference of ‘Jihad’ not only in the Quran but also in Gita.

He said, “It's said there's a lot of discussion on Jihad in Islam... Even after all efforts, if someone doesn't understand the clean idea, power can be used, it's mentioned in Quran & Gita... Shri Krishna taught lessons of Jihad to Arjun in a part of Gita in Mahabharat.”
