<p>Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) member Chattar Singh was questioned by the CBI in a case of irregularities in the allocation of industrial plots on Monday.<br /><br />The incidents referred to in the FIR took place in 2012, when Singh was posted as additional principal secretary to former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.<br /><br />According to the FIR, 14 people were given industrial plots by manipulating certain provisions of the allotment.<br /><br />It is said in the report that these people were allowed to submit their applications after the last date of submission.<br /><br />They submitted their applications on 24 January, 2012, when the deadline was 6 January, 2012. The FIR also said that the 14 plots were allotted at throwaway prices after changes were made in the eligibility criteria.</p>
