<p>It all began when Nagamma (25), wife of one Lokesh Goud was found in a compromising position with Narsimhulu (30) of the same village on Monday night. <br /><br />Enraged over the incident, the villagers held a panchayat and summoned the duo. During the proceedings, Nagamma was reprimanded and was advised to mend her ways. <br /><br />After freeing Nagamma, the villagers tied Narsimhulu to a tree and tortured him till midnight. Anticipating trouble, a few villagers informed the police and media. <br /><br />Meanwhile, humiliated Nagamma committed suicide by consuming poison.<br /><br />News of her death fuelled the fury of the villagers who then decided to finish what they have started.<br /><br />In the wee hours, Narsimhulu was dragged to a ground where preparation for the cremation of Nagamma’s body was going on. <br /><br />While the pyre was lit by Nagamma’s husband, the mob threw the hapless man into the fire.<br />Police arrived the spot only after both the bodies were burnt to ashes. <br /><br />Denying police inaction, Medak Superintendent of Police Sunder Kumar Das said that they responded immediately after receiving information from villagers. <br /><br />“We are trying to identify the culprits and stern action will be initiated,” he added.</p>
