With just 12 days left for Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, BJP on Wednesday shifted campaign gears with party chief Amit Shah addressing a rally here where he sought to corner Congress and AAP on nationalism and Pakistan.

Shah did make references to the development work done by Narendra Modi government in the national capital but most of his speech was dedicated to BJP's campaign pitch on nationalism, terrorism, infiltrators and Jammu and Kashmir and took digs at both Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal.

The BJP chief sought to make fun of Kejriwal by saying that he never saw anyone like the AAP chief who changed his stand even as he targeted Rahul claiming that he went on vacation whenever the temperature rose in the country, even leaving his mother clueless where he was.

After briefly mentioning about development initiatives taken by NDA government, Shah trained his guns at Kejriwal asking what happened to his promise to sent former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit to jail on corruption charges. "He used to say Dikshit was corrupt. But he first formed a government with her support. Now she has said no to an alliance with AAP, but the fact is that Kejriwal went to resolve the issues with her," he said.

Referring to the sloganeering incident in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Shah accused both Rahul and Kejriwal of aligning with those who want to break the country.

"Rahul Gandhi went two steps further. BJP said we want to do away with Article 370 and Article 35A and make Jammu and Kashmir an integral part of India. He says abolish sedition law. What will we do if someone is found spying for Pakistan? Rahul and Kejriwal should answer," he said.

When the Modi government gave a befitting reply to Pulwama attack, Shah said both Rahul and Kejriwal were crying as if their cousins were killed. "This is Modi government. If Pakistan fires bullets, we will reply with cannon balls," Shah said.
