Lorry topples on Charmadi Ghat

A goods laden lorry toppled on Charmadi Ghat stretch after the driver lost control over the vehicle in the early hours of Sunday.

The lorry was laden with sheep manure and was travelling from Chitradurga to Mangaluru when the mishap occurred and disrupted traffic for nearly half an hour.

One of the passengers travelling on the road informed the crane service at Kottigehara. The crane rushed to the spot and cleared the fallen manure and shifted the vehicle to one side of the road to facilitate the movement of vehicles.
