After acquiring the Telugu remake rights of Aptharakshaka, producer Bellamkonda Suresh has signed on Victory Venkatesh to play the same role as the late Vishnuwardhan. And for the music, he has signed on Gurukiran who has scored the music for the original.
What’s more? For the movie, Gurukiran has been asked to retain two of the
Kannada songs for the Telugu version.

Sharing the news with Metrolife, Gurukiran says,
“I have been asked to retain two of the classical numbers in the Telugu version. It’s
really a great thing because this will be the first time something like this is happening.”
As for the other numbers, Gurukiran says that it is a close kept secret and he will divulge only a little, “The other numbers will have to fit the Telugu culture, so it will be far more expressive and loud,” he says.

“We are still in the process of signing on the singers and a lot depends on what the
song requires. Nevertheless,
I would like to give a chance to Kannada singers.”
The music is said to be recorded in the City itself.
