'Anganwadi issues to be raised in budget session'

MLC Ayanur Manjunath, MLA C T Ravi and Pallavi C Ravi take part in the inauguration of the quarterly convention of anganwadi and Asha workers at Chikkamagaluru on Sunday.

MLC Ayanur Manjunath promised to draw the attention of the government towards the problems of anganwadi and Asha workers in the upcoming budget session.

He was speaking during the quarterly regional meet of state anganwadi workers and assistants association, organised in association with the state Asha Workers Mazdur Sangh at Kuvempu Kalamandira, in Chikkamagaluru on Sunday.

City Municipal Council President Shilpa Rajashekhar said that the women should stay united and should fight for their rights. They should avail benefits from the government.

Bharatiya Mazdur Sangh state president K Vishwanath Shetty, Bharatiya Anganwadi Naukarara Sangha general secretary Anjali Patel, leaders Shivamma, Vijayalakshmi and D K Sadashiva were present.
