Actor Sivaji: conspiracy to topple Naidu govt

Tollywood actor Sivaji on Saturday alleged that a national party will be taking a final step to dethrone Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

He told reporters in Vijayawada that on Monday a Constitutional body will be sending a notice to Naidu, which will push the state into oblivion. “The state has suffered a lot due to the bifurcation. A strong leadership is providing some direction to the state. Now destabilising the state will further affect the future of its people,” Sivaji said without naming the national party.

He further said that Naidu’s arrest is inevitable and the information was given to him by national leaders.

“If the same conspiracy is hatched against Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy, I would have reacted in the same manner,” he said while refuting allegations that he was tutored by the TDP.

Operation Garuda

In March, Sivaji had claimed that a national party has made detailed strategies to come to power in South India. The game plan for Kerala and Tamil Nadu has been named as Operation Ravana, Kumara for Karnataka and Dravida and Garuda for Telugu states.

He had also claimed that he has evidence which shows that a national party has earmarked Rs 4,800 crore to implement its game plan in South India.
