A man with a knife in his hand, who had come to meet Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, was arrested from Kerala House in New Delhi today. Pinarayi Vijayan is in Delhi for the politburo meeting of CPIM. The youth has been identified as Vimal Raj from Alappuzha district.
He came to the Kerala House around 9.30 am, took out his knife and shouted that the Kerala CM had cheated him, reports local media. He also said he is going to commit suicide. He had a national flag in his pocket.
The security staff of Pinarayi Vijayan overpowered him after a tussle and handed him over to the Delhi police.
