Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday released its list of candidates for Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and for the third phase of the election in Assam.
The party fielded Banendra Kr Mushahar from the Gauripur constituency in Assam. Elections to the 126-member Assam Assembly will be held in three phases on March 27, April 1 and April 6.
In Kerala, the saffron party fielded Mukundan Palliyara from Mananthavady, Bitty Sudheer from Karunagappally, M. Sunil from Kollam and Sobha Surendran from Kazhakoottam.
In Tamil Nadu, the party fielded C Nagesh Kumar from Thalli, Bhojarajan from Udhagamandalam and from Vilavancode.
