In Haryana, the Congress will focus on the failures of Manohar Lal Khattar government to attract voters. Congress is working towards a grand allaince of all non-BJP parties in Jharkhand including JMM, RJD and JVM to defeat BJP led by chief minister Raghubar Das.

The Congress in Maharashtra is fighting the Lok Sabha with the support of Sharad Pawar's NCP and hope for the same for Assembly polls too. The party is also thinking to garner votes out of Shiv Sena's ruining relationship with BJP in the state.
