The Shiv Sena has decided to contest the two Lok Sabha seats of Goa.
The state of Goa has two Lok Sabha seats and currently both represented by the BJP.
While South Goa is represented by Narendra Sawaikar, North Goa is represented by Sripad Naik, who is a minister in the Narendra Modi government.
According to Shiv Sena spokesman Sanjay Raut, party's state chief Jitesh Kamat will fight from the North Goa seat while vice-president Rakhi Prabhudesai Naik will contest from South Goa.
The Shiv Sena and the BJP have an electoral tie-up in the neighbouring state of Maharashtra for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and Assembly election, which is set to be held later this year.
