Setback for OPS as Madras HC allows AIADMK GC meeting, paving way for EPS as party leader

In a setback for O Panneerselvam, the Madras High Court on Saturday gave its nod to the AIADMK General Council meeting.

Justice Krishnan Ramasamy dismissed the petition filed by OPS seeking a stay on the meeting.

In a few minutes, the GC will elect Edappadi Palaniswami as the interim general secretary.
