<p>Congress leader and Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has been dropped from the Kapil Sharma Show for his comments favouring continuation of dialogue with Pakistan.</p>.<p>Sidhu's reaction after Thursday's suicide attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama has come under fire on social media platforms.</p>.<p>On Saturday, media reports said 55-year-old Sidhu was removed from the popular comedy show. However, there was no confirmation from broadcaster Sony Entertainment Television, producer Salman Khan, SK TV or presenter Kapil Sharma.</p>.<p>The cricketer-turned-commentator-turned-politician had been a regular feature on the show hosted by Kapil Sharma, the comedy king, except for the break he took during elections.<br />Replacement</p>.<p>According to reports, Sidhu is to be replaced by actress, TV host and reality show judge Archana Puran Singh. </p>.<p>While condemning the Pulwama attack, Sidhu said: "Can an entire nation be held responsible for a handful of people." </p>.<p>Earlier, he had faced criticism for attending the swearing-in ceremony of Imran Khan as Pakistan prime minister and hugging their Army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa. <br /> </p>
