Medical and Health Special Chief Secretary J Satyanarayana, took oath as Chairman, of 'TTD Specified Authority', Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials said. Principal Secretary cadre officers, TTD Executive Officer, I Y R Krishna Rao and V Nagireddy, Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (APIDC) took oath as members of the authority, they added.
The government had constituted the authority in the wake of several allegations of irregularities, especially the much publicised multi-crore rituals tickets scam. The authority was constituted on August 24, the day when the term of the TTD Board, headed by D K Adikesavulu Naidu ended.
