2 people booked for brutally thrashing pet dog

Two people were booked for brutally thrashing a pet dog in the city recently.

Santosh and Gowtham are the accused who thrashed the pet dog of Nanjappa. The duo attacked the dog with an iron rod at 7.15 pm, when it was tied in front of the house in Loknath Nagar in the city. The dog sustained severe injuries.

According to the sources, the accused thrashed the dog as a few stray dogs attacked them.

Metagalli Police are investigating the case.
