<p>Drinking water supply in Kerala is all set to be privatised with the state government giving administrative sanction to launch a company for the purpose.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The government will have 49 per cent stake in the proposed company while the majority 51 per cent will be held by a private player.<br /><br />The chief minister will be the chairman of the proposed firm and secretaries of water resources, finance and local self-government departments will be members of the board of directors.<br /></p>
