Notices served to those selling tobacco products

District Tobacco Control Cell officials on Saturday carried out a raid on different shops that were selling tobacco products and served notices to the shop owners.

The raids were conducted on pan shops, hotels and grocery shops.

Tobacco products and gutka packets were sold openly in the shops. After warning the owners, notices were served.

Fine will be collected from those who violate the rules, said the officials.
