The three-day Padayatra, to mount pressure on Centre to expedite work on the widening of NH 75 and save lives of people, will be held from Monday, said former minister B Ramanath Rai said.
The Padayatra, to be taken out from Nelyadi, will be flagged off by District In-charge Minister U T Khader. The 45-km Padayatra will end in B C Road, he added.
On the first day, the Padayatra will also cover a public protest to be held in Uppinangady. On the second day, the Padayatra will end with a public meet at Mani junction and on the third day the valedictory will be organised near Brahmashri Narayana Guru Temple in B C Road, Rai added.
KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao and Congress leaders from neighbouring Kerala will also participate in the valedictory programme, he said.
