Protest, counter-protest in Hubballi

After JD(S) workers picketed MP Pralhad Joshi's office and staged a protest in the office premises here on Monday, the BJP workers were quick enough to condemn this act, and staged a protest in front of the Sub-urban Police Station, demanding the arrest of JD(S) workers.

Led by Corporator Rajanna Koravi, the JD(S) workers tried to picket MP's office twice, and they were successful the second time, and raised slogans during the 'Bharat Bandh'.

Later, the BJP leaders staged a protest in front of the Sub-urban Police Station, demanding the arrest of JD(S) workers, charging that they unauthorisedly entered the MP office premises, obstructed works there, disturbed patients at the adjacent hospital, and raised derogatory slogans against Prime Minister Nagendra Modi and MP Pralhad Joshi.

BJP leaders Nagesh Kalburgi, Chandrashekhar Gokak, Shivu Menasikai, and others submitted a memorandum to DCP B S Nemagouda, to file a case and take action against JD(S) workers.
