Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh along with State BJP President B S Yeddyurappa and MP B Y Raghavendra visited Rajarajeshwari Temple at Polali on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Yeddyurappa said, “I felt happy after visiting the renovated Polali Temple. I have prayed for the victory of BJP in the Lok Sabha polls and for re-election of Modi as Prime Minister.”

Yeddyurappa also inspected the ‘Ugrana’ (Store room) where ‘Horekanike’, offerings given by devotees, are stored in the temple.

On account of Brahmakalashotsava of Polali Temple, all the colourful sarees, offered to Goddess by the devotees, were used for decoration beside the road leading to the temple.

Along with saffron flag and flexes, the sarees too adorned the road from Gurpura
Kaikamba Junction to the temple. An arch was erected using the sarees at Gurupura Junction.
