JOIN USNetflix for Android gets Instagram Story share feature
Popular multi-media streaming service Netflix, earlier in the year, launched a personalised feature for users to share movies, TV shows on their Instagram Story page, but it was exclusive to iOS devices such as Apple iPhones and iPads, but not anymore.
Now, Android device owners can customise their Instagram Story with themes based on their favourite Netflix movies and programmes.
Here's how to get started with Instagram Story share feature on Netflix for Android:
Netflix users just have to select the title they want to share and add it directly to their Instagram Story.
Furthermore, they can personalise the default art further to add captions, stickers and more. Or users can just directly share the titles with their contacts on Instagram. However, the Instagram Story will remain visible for 24 hours
Followers of Instagram influencer can find the direct link in the Story, to the title page within the Netflix app.
“Sharing to Instagram Stories is now on all Android phones. You can share the Netflix shows and films you’re in love with directly from the Netflix app to your followers. Pop in a quiz for your friends to guess your favourite character from a show. Or a GIF to reflect your mood after a movie. It’s all part of what we’re doing to make it fun and easy to share what you’re watching, and help your friends find something new to watch,” Netflix said.
As of now, the Instagram Story sharing feature is available on Netflix v7.90 for Android. Others who haven't able to get it, can update their app by going to Google Play store. Find the Netflix and there you will find 'Update' and tap on it, and you will find the new feature by following the aforementioned procedure.
