BEML to face ITI in title clash

 BEML Rail Coach Sports Club will be up against ITI Sports Club in the final of the KSCA Group-II, Division-III cricket tournament at the RRMC grounds here on Friday.

In the semifinal on Thursday, BEML Rail Coach SC rode on Madhu V’s 162 to thump Railway Institute, KR Puram by a massive margin of 255 runs.

Batting first, BEML posted a total of 325 runs for seven in 50 overs and then bundled out Railway Institute for a lowly 70 runs in 14.2 overs. Suraj Singh, with figures five for 28, was the main wicket-taker for BEML.

In the other last-four tie, Akshay B wreaked havoc with a six-wicket haul as ITI Sports Club defeated BWSSB Employees Association by seven wickets.
