On day 6 of the Olympic games, there was so much to cheer for India. Badminton star PV Sindhu has entered the quarterfinals after beating her Danish rival. In hockey too, India beat reigning champion Argentina to move to quarterfinals. It was a good day in archery with Atanu Das qualifying for pre-quarterfinals. However, legend Mary Kom's pursuit of what may be her final Olympic medal ended in tears.
