Top seed Prarthana Thombare will face seventh seed Eetee Maheta in the final of the KS Narayanan Memorial ITF Women’s Futures being played at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium here.
In the semifinals on Friday, Prarthana saw off the challenge of the energetic Nidhi Chilumula 6-3, 7-5. In the second match, Eetee edged past Natasha Palha 6-3, 5-7, 3-6.
In the final of the women’s doubles event, Sharrmadaa Ballu and Rishika Sunkara beat the third seed pairing of Natasha and Prarthana 6-0, 7-6 (7-4).
