<p>Tamil Nadu’s VM Sandeep and Paarvi S Patil of Karnataka clinched the under-12 boys’ and girls’ singles titles respectively in the KTPPA-AITA Talent Series tournament at the Mahila Seva Samaja courts here on Friday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Sandeep registered an easy 6-2, 6-1 victory over Karnataka’s Rohan Prashanth in the final while Paarvi got the better of State-mate Chandrika Joshi 6-2, 6-2 in the girls’ summit clash. <br />In the boys’ final, Sandeep started off slowly taking time to get into a rhythm with Rohan taking a 2-1 lead. <br /><br />However, Sandeep bounced back soon to pocket five games in a row to polish off the first set at 6-2 to stamp his authority on the match. <br /><br />Sandeep then took firm control of the proceedings in the second, wrapping it up 6-1 for a comfortable win.<br /><br />Results (both finals): Boys: U-12: VM Sandeep (TN) bt Rohan Prashanth (Kar) 6-2, 6-1.
