Sulaiman, Neel spur Bangalore United

Sulaiman and Neel R wreaked havoc with the ball as Bangalore United Cricket Club (2) recorded a massive 174-run victory over Friends Cricket Club in the KSCA Group I, Division V league-cum-knockout cricket tournament for the JB Mallaradhya Shield here. 

Batting first, Banglore United CC (2) built on Vikar Ahmed’s (56) half-century and Neel R’s unbeaten 43 runs, which was backed well by Nitesh Reddy (36) to post a total of 212 runs in 42 overs. Nirbhay was the pick of bowlers for Friends CC as he claimed seven-wickets while giving away 43 runs.

In response, Friends CC were bundled out for a meagre 38 runs in 24 overs, with Sulaiman and Neel R doing the damage, with figures 5/15 and 4/2 respectively, for Bangalore United CC (2).
