<div>Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments, which have been claiming shuttler PV Sindhu as their own, have announced several gifts for her and also for her coach Pullela Gopichand on Saturday.<br /><br />Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao addressing a press conference here announced Rs 5 cr cash award for Sindhu and Rs 1 cr for Gopichand. The government is also offering a cash award of Rs 1 Cr to wrestler Sakshi Malik. <br /><br />Sindhu was offered a job by the CM who wished that she stays in Telangana and tried to seal the deal with a 1000 square yards of plot here. The government is also planning for a memorable welcome for Sindhu when she arrives here on August 22 August. <br /><br />Earlier, Andhra Pradesh state cabinet that met in Vijayawada announced Rs 3 cr cash award for Sindhu and Rs 50 lakh for Sakshi. <br /><br />Gopichand will receive Rs 50 lakh cash award. Parents of Sindhu are natives of coastal AP.<br /><br />Along with the cash award the AP government also offered a Group 1 level government job to Sindhu and a 1000 square yards plot in Amaravati. The government also decided to offer suitable site for a badminton academy in the capital region of Amaravati if Gopichand wishes to set up a facility there.<br /><br /></div>
