Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi on Sunday said the BJP was not in a hurry to attain power in the state, but it was ready to provide an alternative in case the JD(S)-Congress coalition breaks up.

Speaking to media persons in Dharwad, Joshi said problems were brewing up in the coalition due to lack of coordination and non co-operation.

"All is not well inside the Congress. Moreover, it is not in the habit of JD(S) leaders H D Deve Gowda and H D Kumaraswamy to take along others. Their world is limited to Hassan and Mandya," he said.

To a query, the MP said the BJP had kept the option of forming the government open if the JD(S)-Congress government collapsed on its own. The BJP was not trying to topple the government, he added.
