Sources in CBI said the team found evidence of shifting of the boundary between the Antaragangamma Konda mining area of Siddapura in Andhra Pradesh and the mining area leased by the Hind Traders in Karnataka, it is learnt. The CBI officers also examined the boundary between the two states at Malapanagudi in Andhra Pradesh, and at Tumati and Vithalapura in Karnataka.

The officers have been told by the staff of the Mines and Geology Department of Andhra Pradesh that the boundary markings between the areas leased by Hind Traders in Karnataka and by the Anantapuram Mining Company at Antaragangamma Konda in Andhra were not the same as demarcated by them.
